This website is for general education. It is not medical advice. Reading it does not create a physician–patient relationship between you and Dr. Geller or this practice, and nothing here should be used to diagnose or treat a condition, or to decide for or against an operation, without talking to a qualified physician about your own situation.
Medicine changes. Guidelines are revised, procedures fall in and out of favour, and evidence that looked settled ten years ago sometimes is not. We work to keep this site current and accurate, but we cannot guarantee that every statement reflects the very latest evidence at the moment you read it.
Results vary
The weight loss figures, complication rates, and outcomes described on this site are typical ranges reported in the surgical literature, or reflect this practice's own experience. They are not a promise, prediction, or guarantee of your result. Individual outcomes depend on your starting weight, medical conditions, the operation performed, and your own follow-through, and they vary widely between patients. No surgical outcome can be guaranteed by anyone.

If you are having a medical emergency, call 911 or go to your nearest emergency department. Do not use this website, email, or a voicemail message to report an emergency.
Email is not secure
Please do not send detailed medical information by email. It is not a secure channel for protected health information. Share your history at your appointment or through the patient portal. See our privacy policy and Notice of Privacy Practices.

Licensure
Dr. Geller is licensed to practice medicine in Kentucky and Indiana. Care, including telehealth visits, can only be provided to patients physically located in a state where he holds a licence at the time of the appointment.
